Moonbase Music are glad to present a new partnership with Westside Music Sweden.
Interview with Manager Mattias Tell.
– Please tell us about yourself and Westside Music Sweden.
I initiated Westside Music Sweden (WMS) as a project in 2017 and we formed the company only last year. The idea grew from working with international touring at the association KulturUngdom, and I thought things we did there could be of use to more people. As Westside we came pretty fast to incorporate labels and managements and created opportunities for their artists. The core business of Westside circles around doing events at festivals in Europe and beyond (quite the struggle this year) and we host a club festival and international music conference called Viva Sounds, happening in Gothenburg over the first weekend of December. So in all it’s a lot about music but most about sending emails and trying to get people interested in our thing.
– What is the difference between Indie Music business and other Music businesses?
The focus on streaming potential plus money spent on releases, office furniture and coffee machines.
